Gas Powered Remote Control Cars

Gas powered remote control cars run on "nitro fuel". Nitro fuel is a combination of nitro methane, methanol, and oil. So "gas powered" does not meat that these cars run on regular gasoline. Your best bet when buying a gas powered rc car is to probably start with some sort of package deal. The package deal will come with everything you need to get your gas powered rc car started, including nitro fuel, your car, batteries and a charger, and various tools.

If you are looking to buy a nitro rc car, you should consider whether you want an off road car or something for the street.  A good street car for a first time buyer would be a Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec.  It tops out at about 75 mph.  The HPI Savage X is a good truck for beginners.  It can take a beating and still continue to run.  If you are looking to take your gas powered rc car off road, then we recommend the Traxxas Jato model of rc car!
